A pearl harvested during deep shit diving
Shine your Light
Last winter I spent a good amount of time deep shit diving. I must admit it felt lonely, the kind no other human could solve. It was painful, physically, leaving me almost immobile for weeks on end. On the inside, however, I experienced bliss and peace. At least until energy slowly crawled back in and reactivated my mind. That’s when the suffering began. But…the deep shit diving session left me with many beautiful gifts I’m still processing up until today*. One of those gifts is the song “Shine your Light”.
You must give credits to the Universe for its humor! From a certain perspective though, it makes perfect sense.
One night at the beginning of this episode I had a lucid dream about a light being.
She was sitting there in the dark, her wings folded around her sore and worn out body and joints. She seemed to be inhaling the Darkness, absorbing her through her skin. The whole process built up a lot of resistance, when suddenly the accumulated energy sparked a flame.Â
The Darkness transformed into Light. The little spark was all she needed to come back to life. She unfolded her wings and limbs and took off.Â
There she went, flying high, passing by while spreading her light. Sprinkling it on every living being crossing her path.Â
Shine your Light
when it’s time to recharge
she creeks and groans, absorbs the dark
she dives within and withdraws
breathing, praying for a spark
there she is flying high
dancing with the gift she brings
gracefully passing by
she brings the light, pure medicine
coming from the other side
where it’s dark and never bright
take a breath and hold on tight
fly with her, she brings the light
bringing you the morning light
bringing you the evening light
bringing you eternal light
shine with her, oh shine your light
hear her prayers while down in the dark
absorbing the pains, igniting the spark
moving with care, she has to learn
preparing herself for her return
she’s bringing her warmth to the cool
rainbows of colors to the fool
perfectly fragile, perfectly strong
her glow of vibrations all around
born from the dark, you shine your light
remember to return and shine your light
shining from the other side
where it’s dark and never bright
take a breath and hold on tight
fly with her, we bring the light
bring with you the morning light
bring with you the evening light
bring with you eternal light
shine with her, oh shine your light
